Sed Ossa

A swiftly growing voice for personal, rather than societal morality, the adapted Ossa of the upper strata has even become a challenge to the primacy of the Temple of Erathis in Akrea in recent years, at least if its strident missionaries are to be believed.

The Sed Ossa is a fractious collection of a dozen or more radical puritan cults that actively resist the ‘decadent’ and ‘corrupt’ ideology of the Val Ossa, purging Bane and the other sidereal gods in favour of a focussed worship of Bahamut on his own. Even Tiamat’s role is reduced: no longer the all-mother of the Karaash (who is admittedly a ferocious black figure that reclaims all life after death, but still the deliverer of all fate, good as well as bad), she becomes a mere howling beast of the wastes, the mother of monsters, and the ultimate blasphemy – something to be refuted at every turn.

The Sed Ossa has a mixed reputation, as there is a real disparity between the charitable acts it inspires in some, and the ferocious denunciations some of its members have made of the cults of other gods.
